Wow, that person sure doesn’t act like a believer! I wish I could say that this is a rare exclamation, but it’s not. Most of us that have a commitment to Christ as Lord and Savior have displayed behavior at some point that gives little evidence that Christ has changed our life. In fact, the divide between talk and walk is a persistent problem that we seem to little understand. How do we get our arms around this? Sometimes it seems easier to just drift along hoping that God will understand and be gracious. How we can embrace Christ, know that God demands holiness from us, and yet still have lives consistently marked by sin? That’s what Romans 6 addresses.
